The conference entitled "Is Ukraine Ready?" was held at the European Parliament in Brussels. Organized by the Patriots for Europe Foundation, it focused on the consequences of a potential Ukrainian accession to the European Union. Two panels brought together European intellectuals and political leaders to examine the budgetary impacts of such integration as well as its effects on European farmers. Among the speakers were MEP Gilles Pennelle, Soma Lehotzky from the SzĂĄzadvĂ©g Research Center, MEP Tomas KubĂn from the ANO party, and Kacper Kita, a specialist on issues related to Ukraine's EU accession.
