Record illegal crossings, soaring social costs, non-enforced expulsion orders: Europe faces a systemic migration crisis. In 2024, over 380,000 illegal entries were recorded at the EU’s external borders according to Frontex — an 80% increase since 2014. Less than 10% of deportation orders are enforced, and European courts like the ECJ and ECHR regularly block national control and return measures.
In response, the Patriots for Europe Foundation is organizing an exceptional conference at the European Parliament in Brussels on 27 June 2025 to address a central question: “What migration policy for Europe?”
For 90 minutes, elected officials, experts and thinkers will openly debate whether Europe can truly regain control of its borders.
SPEAKERS:
Fabrice Leggeri, Former Director of Frontex, MEP (Patriots for Europe)
Jérôme Sainte-Marie, Pollster and President of PollingVox
Thierry Mariani, Member of the European Parliament (Patriots for Europe)
