The Foundation

Our principles

The Patriots for Europe Foundation is a European political foundation registered with the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations. The foundation is composed of individual members representing it in several Member States, including France, Belgium (Flanders), Austria, Italy, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Estonia, and the Czech Republic.

The Foundation is convinced that the sovereignty of states and peoples relies on cooperation between nations and therefore rejects any policy aimed at creating a supranational model. Opposition to any transfer of national sovereignty to supranational bodies and/or European institutions is one of the fundamental principles that unites the members of the Foundation.

Freedoms

The members of the Patriots for Europe Foundation and their parties base their movement on the defense of individual freedoms and emphasize the particular importance of protecting freedom of expression.

Respect for the principle of democracy

The Foundation and its members base their political project on democratic principles and the Charter of Fundamental Rights, and therefore reject any past or present affiliation, connection, or sympathy with any authoritarian or totalitarian project.

Sovereignty

The Patriots for Europe Foundation is convinced that the sovereignty of states and peoples relies on cooperation between nations and therefore rejects any policy aimed at creating a supranational model. Identity

The Members of the European Parliament from the Patriots for Europe Foundation base their political alliance on the preservation of the identity of the peoples and nations of Europe, in accordance with the specific characteristics of each people. The right to control and regulate immigration is therefore a fundamental principle shared by the members of the PFE Party.

Specificity

The Members of the European Parliament from the Patriots for Europe Foundation mutually recognize each other's right to defend their specific economic, social, cultural, and territorial models. The Patriots for Europe Foundation seeks to preserve the diversity of its members' political projects.
